The former Tottenham striker Harry Kane was one of the best players on the pitch for England in their 3-1 win against Italy in Wembley on the eighth day of the Euro 2024 qualifiers netting a double to certify the qualification of the England national team for the European tournament next summer.

The English superstar, currently playing in Bundesliga after joining Bayern Munchen for €100 million from Tottenham in the Premier League transfer market deadline, was crucial in the England’s victory, as he scored the equalizing goal at the 32nd minute converting a penalty after Italy opened the scoring at the 15th with a goal of Gianluca Scamacca.

However, Kane not only equalized the game but also sealed his great performance with a second goal which was the third for England, sealing the victory of his team at the 73rd minute and completing his double net in the game, which would allow him to reach an incredible register with the England national team.

Kane overtook a record by Bobby Charlton

With his double against Italy, Harry Kane reached his 24th goal scored in Wembley, and became the English player with more goals scored in the mythical stadium, overtaking a legend as Bobby Charlton (23), who is followed by Gary Lineker (22), Wayne Rooney (19), Alan Shearer (18), Jimmy Greaves (17) and Geoff Hurst (16).
