Cristiano Ronaldo is still a global icon. Although he received a lot of criticism for his decision to go to Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr and receive a ton of money for being their commercial image, he is still looking to be competitive and bring a new football idea to the region. And so are several of those world-class stars who are still in form.

One of those who has been following the game in recent hours is Karim Benzema. The Frenchman has left Real Madrid, despite some claims that he could extend his contract for a few more months, and has already signed for his new club, Al-Ittihad, so he will be competing for the title with the Portuguese star.

And the Middle East has also signed another big name for big money. After being told by Mauricio Pochettino that he would not be involved with Chelsea, N'Golo Kante has also been signed by Al-Ittihad and will partner Benzema for the next season.

The Saudi Arabian league will become more competitive, but Cristiano Ronaldo is already thinking about what is to come for his future in the coming years. He knows that time will not forgive his physical condition, and he already sees himself purchasing a football team so he can manage it like Ronaldo Nazario did in Spain with Real Valladolid.

Which club could Ronaldo buy after his retirement?

Cristiano Ronaldo sees himself playing football for a couple more years. When asked by reporters about his retirement, the European reaffirmed that he wants to buy a football club in order to stay involved in the sport. One such team could be Andorinha FC, the first club where the multiple Ballon d'Or winner played and which could help him develop more quality players like himself.
