Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp continued his successful season with the Reds with a 5-2 victory against Norwich City in Anfield for the fourth round of the FA Cup, wich granted the club’s advance to the next round of the competition, and the possibility of getting an historic quadruple for the German manager before ending his career at the institution.

Jürgen Klopp included Szoboszlai and Robertson in his squad against Norwich

Curtis Jones opened the scoring for the Reds in the 16th with a header from the left to the bottom right corner after being assisted by Jamie McConnell, but Norwich netted the equalizer through Ben Gibson only six minutes later, which didn’t avoid the locals extend their dominance in the game, which was sealed by Darwin Nunez with the second goal for Liverpool in the 28th.

The second half followed a similar path to the one of the first, as Jota extended the lead for Liverpool in the 53rd with a powerful left footed shot, and despite Virgil Van Dijk scored the fourth goal for the Reds with a header ten minutes later, Borja Sainz reduced distances in the scoreboard for the Canaries in the 69th.

Future defined, Klopp confirms what he will do after leaving Liverpool

The Reds will keep on fighting for Klopp’s quadruple

With the favorable result for his team, Jürgen Klopp decided to give minutes to important players recently recovered from serious injuries, and Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold had minutes during the second half while the young midfielder Jamie McConnell had to leave the pitch injured. Gravenberch sealed the big win for Liverpool with the definitive 5-2 and the Reds will keep on fighting for Klopp’s quadruple in the season.
