PSG could be ready to make a huge impact in the Premier League by signing one of the top players of the competition in the next few months as it was reported by the French media in the last few hours, revealing the plans of the French giant and their manager Luis Enrique Martinez to strengthen their team for leading the French and European football.
The Parisian club, who have already made two great moves in the South American market by signing the Brazilian center back Lucas Beraldo from Sao Paulo and the Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians in the last few weeks, would be trying to sing a third Brazilian player during the January transfer market window to shield the main areas of the squad.
In this sense, according to the French journal Le Parisien, PSG would have made Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle their priority to improve their team’s midfield during the January transfer market window even ahead of the English international Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City as the Brazilian midfielder’s performances against the French team in the Champions League would have strongly impacted on the French coaching staff.
Sold to Newcastle in January 2022 by Olympique Lyonnais for €50 million, Guimaraes has quickly shown his quality with the Magpies, and he currently has a release clause of €115 million that his agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who recently sent Beraldo and Moscardo to PSG, would try to negotiate in favor of PSG.
