Manchester United will have a lot of changes for next season. The team managed by Erik ten Hag was able to reach the UEFA Champions League, but was left in the fight for the title a few weeks ago, which made the fans feel disillusioned and with demands for the Old Trafford team to be more winning next season.

One of those changes would be in defence. Ten Hag has not shied away from the issue, and understands that he is going to have to make major changes to his squad. It will be difficult for him to let go of the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane or Luke Shaw. But United's own media and fans have a favourite villain.

And it is no surprise that Harry Maguire is the player most singled out for failure this season. His performances in UEFA Europa League matches, where he gave away balls in the defensive zone and caused his team to collapse in Europe, have even been mocked.

Maguire could have redemption in the upcoming FA Cup final against one of the favourites to win it and the UEFA Champions League, Manchester City. Josep Guardiola's men are fine-tuning their weapons and want to win Europe's biggest trophy against Inter Milan.

The millions Maguire is asking for to leave United

Harry Maguire's contract runs until 2025, so he has two more years left on his contract. The termination clause would be 10 million pounds and Manchester United would be willing to pay it so that the England defender could find a new team. Perhaps one that wants him and that will make him resurface in a career that has been marked by his continuous mistakes.
