The sale of Manchester United is becoming impossible by the day. The Glazer Family's team is trying to keep the £6 billion price tag clean and can't go below that amount. That is why they have only two real offers for the Old Trafford outfit.
The first offer is from Jim Ratcliffe presented to the Raine Group, a US bank that would handle the figure and negotiation to get the club immediately. This would have to be endorsed by the Premier League for it to be accepted by the other team owners.
The second is that of Jassim bin Hammad al-Thani, who has set a final and non-negotiable figure. He has become desperate because the sale has stalled, and is now looking to put pressure on by trying to get up from the table in a smart move.
But in recent days, the name of Nasser Al-Khelaifi has come into play. The PSG president is reportedly advising Sheikh Jassim to bring forward negotiations, which has raised suspicions among the other owners involved in the Premier League, so the controversy is beginning to brew.
David Ornstein in his social media posts reports that several Premier League clubs will ask to investigate the funds used to buy Manchester United. Especially because of Al-Khelaifi's connection to Sheikh Jassim.
