Arsenal surprised in the last few hours to the football fans with their 5-3 victory against FC Barcelona in Los Angeles, in their third friendly game during their 2023 US Tour. Mikel Arteta’s team completed a brilliant performance and were very superior to their rival, showing some of the tactical switches the Spanish coach wants to introduce for next season.

However, the football fans were also surprised by the absence of Declan Rice in the team, as he was expected to be in the line up and the fans were willing to see the most expensive player in Gunner’s history playing such a top level game, but Rice was reported to be injured and the news worried all the Arsenal fans.

In this sense, Mikel Arteta informed about the injury’s severity in the last few hours, revealing that Rice missed the game against FC Barcelona as a precaution with a tight calf, and reporting that it would not be a serious injury and Rice would be expected to return for the game at the Emirates Stadium against AS Monaco next week.

Arteta also talked about the Zincheko’s medical status

In this respect, the Gunner’s coach also talked about the Ukrainian Olelsandr Zinchenko, who would have a little muscular issue and would be back with the team soon with the team, being his return expected for the AS Monaco game alongside Declan Rice.
