Liverpool will look for a victory that helped them to keep going in the race to fight for the title against Manchester City after a comfortable win in the Europa League against LASK. Their coach Jürgen Klopp returned to give minutes to Nunez from the start in their game against West Ham in Anfield for the sixth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season.

Jürgen Klopp placed Gomez and Matip in the defense replacing Trent Alexander Arnold and Konate, while Van Dijk returned to their initial team after serving the three-game ban required by the FA after receiving a controversial red card against Newcastle. In this sense, the rest of the team will be composed of the usual players in the team by the German coach, with Szboszlai, Mac Allister and Jones in the middle, and Salah, Nunez and Diaz in the forward line.

On their side, West Ham, who won in their game against TSC in the UEFA Europa League, finally had the Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen in the lineup, alongside Paqueta and Ward-Prowse behind Mijail Antonio, while the midfield was composed as usual by Edson and Soucek, with Cougars, Zouma, Aguerd and Emerson in the defense.
