Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United fans know this season must be one step forward in their aspirations as a club and the Red Devils’ summer transfer market is the best sign of that. After completing the transfer of Mason Mount, whose versatility is expected to help the team in many different ways, Erik Ten Hag is looking for another big reinforcement at the Manchester United’s goal, but the last news about the topic could’nt be positive.

Andre Onana, from Inter Milan, is the main target for the position as he is considered by Ten Hag as one of the best available goalkeepers in the markets with the specific characteristics he demands. Ten Hag is looking for a goalkeeper consistent enough either with his feet, as a key part in the Dutchman style of play, and Onana fits in that profile.

However, in the last few hours a problem have come up for the Red Devils when the negotiations between Inter and Manchester United had just started, having the Reds prepared to make an offer of almost £60 for the player. According to the British media, Manchester United wouldn’t be allowed of making such a bid for the player, as they would be violating the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations.
