The Norwegian scored again and broke new records with the Citizen

Manchester City’s striker Erling Haaland scored his first hat trick of the season and took the ball with him in the Citizen’s game against Fulham on the fourth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season breaking a new record in the English league that impacted the fans.

The Norwegian striker, who was recently awarded as the 2022/2023 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, took the chance to impact again his public at the Etihad Stadium with a hat trick that allowed Manchester City to trash Fulham with a 5-1 victory that drove the Citizen to the top of the Premier League before the international break arrives.

In this sense, the 23-year-old player broke a new record with Manchester City according to the data company Opta Sports,  becoming the fastest player to reach 50 goal involvements, with 42 goals and nine assists in just 39 Premier League appearances, breaking Andrew Cole’s record with 43 appearances in the Premier League to reach those stats.

The player’s scoring account is a little worse than his last season’s

However, despite his records broken, the player’s numbers could be a little worse than expected, since Haaland’s numbers this season are a little worse than the one he performed last campaign, as last season in his four games he had already scored seven goals and this season he has scored six.
