The financial problems and the absence of Juventus in the European competitions this season have totally changed the plans of the Italian club for the summer transfer market window. However, the institution is looking for some options to improve the team and it has been reported they will need to sell some important players to make fresh cash and face new signings.

One of the big players to sell is the Serbian player Dusan Vlahovic, who has already been identified by Chelsea and Pochettino as a main target in the market, even considering the possibility of a swap deal involving Lukaku. In this sense, Chelsea could send Lukaku to Juventus and the Italian team would send Vlahovic to play with the Blues. Actually, in the last few hours Juventus could have demanded Chelsea for €25 million plus Lukaku to let Vlahovic go.

However, an unexpected Vlahovic suitor could change everything. The Serbian player is considered a big market opportunity by many European clubs, and Chelsea is not the only team in the race to sign the player. In this sense, Bayern, Real Madrid or PSG have been reported to be willing to sign Vlahovic, and the French team could make a move in the next few hours.

Chelsea could finally lose the race for the player

As reported by the transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, after the arrival of the coach Luis Enrique Martinez to PSG, the French club is looking for a striker to give the Spanish coach more options in the team’s attack, which could also be affected by a potential exit of Mbappe. In this sense, Dusan Vlahovic appears as one of the options to fit the number 9 position of the Parisian team, as PSG could be looking for more candidates on the Luis Enrique Martinez wishlist of strikers for his team.
