Manchester United’s coach, the Dutch ex Ajax Erik Ten Hag, tries to get his team ready for a new challenging season in all competitions. The Mancunian club comes back to the Champions League and it will be required to, at least, keep the place in the first positions of the new Big 7 in the Premier League, competing with expensive teams full of stars like Newcastle or Manchester City.

According to the British media reports, in order to improve the quality and the depth of the squad, Ten Hag is open to selling up to at least 13 players this summer with Jadon Sancho Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Fred, Scott McTomminay and Anthony Elanga as the big names emerging for a potential exit from Old Trafford to improve the team with elite quality for fighting in all competitions.

The name of Jadon Sancho appears as an important financial challenge for Manchester United, as the English international arrived from Borussia Dortmund in exchange of €85 in 2021 after four extremely successful years with the German club. However, at his time at United, he has rarely impressed, setting poor numbers this season with only 7 goals and 3 assists in 41 games played.

The end of the Sancho saga could be a financial disaster

In the last few days,Jadon Sancho has been reported to be dreaming about a possible return to Borussia Dortmund in this summer. The sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, Sebastian Kehl, would be in permanent contact with the representatives of the Manchester United winger, as revealed by the German newspaper Bild. The price set by Manchester United for the Sancho’s transfer is €45 million and the club could front an irremediable lost for its economy as the player has horribly decreased his value during his time at Old Trafford.
