Manchester United is about to take the next step in their rebuilding process, as Erik Ten Hag has the plan to increase the level of the squad following elite football standards. With that goal in mind, the Mancunian club has already completed the arrival of Mason Mount, who has already been introduced to the fans as the new Manchester United number 7.

Ten Hag is taking care of absolutely every detail of the transfer market, with a set wishlist and a selling list which already are being applied to select and sell the players, who must be absolutely elite or trustable for the coach to be in the team.

In that sense, the Dutchman has been reported to have had a key role in the David De Gea exit from Manchester United. Ten Hag was totally upset with the De Gea performances against Sevilla in Europa League and against Manchester City at the FA final, games in which the Spanish goalkeeper made several mistakes, and made the coach not to count on him for the next season.

Meanwhile, the club has supported Erik Ten Hag to bring new goalkeepers to the club, having the Cameroonian player Andre Onana as the Dutchman main target and being Manchester United negotiating with Inter Milan until a final agreement takes place.

Erik Ten Hag could add another unexpected signing

In addition to Onana, Erik Ten Hag has identified several alternatives, who maybe could arrive to the club either as main goalkeepers or potential Onana replacements in the squad. In this sense, after Justin Biljow from Feyenoord and Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt, Manchester United could be willing to sign the Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Altay Bayındır as a potential Onana backup, and according to the Turkish press the Red Devils would have already made a €3 million offer to sign the player, who is 24 years old and played 45 games with his club last season.
