Erik Ten Hag is looking for new reinforcements who can lead his team next season giving quality and versatility to the squad. The Dutchman's plans have already started with the first signing, Mason Mount arriving to improve Manchester United’s midfield, but there is still some work to do, as Ten Hag has still some targets in mind.
In this sense, the Dutchman is determined to sign top quality players corresponding to his elite standards he wants to set at Manchester United to fight for every title next season, and he is looking for players for the midfield after Adrien Rabiot decided to stayed at Juventus and Moises Caicedo from Brighton seems to be very expensive for Manchester United current financial situation.
The club’s budget in this transfer market window is affected by the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations, which don’t allow Manchester United making big investments unless they haven’t sold some players before.According to that, it has come up the name of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina as a potential new signing and the club is ready to complete the transfer in the next few hours.
According to the Italian newspaper La Nazione, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Sofyan Amrabat and are now in talks with Fiorentina to agree a fee. The 26-year-old Moroccan player has played 49 games this season with Fiorentina and has vast experience in international competitions so Erik Ten Hag could be ready to add another elite player to his squad after the Mason Mount arrival.
