Liverpool could receive another blow from the Saudi Pro League in the next few days, as after the departure of Fabinho and the potential Jordan Henderson exit to the Saudi football, another Anfield superstar could be seduced by the Saudi money in this transfer market window, in which the Saudi teams have put their eyes on Liverpool players and could strongly affect the plans Jürgen Klopp has for his team.

In that sense, Al Ettifaq, coached by Steven Gerrard would try to seal a deal for Henderson in the next few hours, with personal terms agreed between the Liverpool captain and the Saudi team, who is now negotiating with Liverpool to agree a price to pay for his transfer, while Fabinho was already bought by the current Saudi Pro League champion Al Ittihad, who paid an amount around €45 million for the Brazilian player.

However, Fabinho could not be the last business made between Al Ittihad and Liverpool, as the current Saudi champion could be interested in another Liverpool superstar. According to the Saudi media, Al Ittihad could be looking for a defender in the transfer market after their player Ahmed Hegazy recently suffered an injury and the current Saudi champion could have decided to try the signing of Virgil Van Dijk.

Liverpool could be looking for a replacement

Van Dijk is one of the most important players in Liverpool, but the Anfield team would be already taking some measures to grant his replacement in case the Dutch player must be sold, and they would have put their eyes on the 20-year-old defender Levi Colwill, from Chelsea. The young English star would cost even more than Van Dijk, who arrived to Liverpool for £75 million, while Colwill has been valued at £80 by Chelsea. However, a potential Van Dijk exit could speed up the Liverpool efforts to sign a replacement.
