Liverpool players Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez were two of the best players in the 2-2 draw between Colombia and Uruguay at the Roberto Melendez Football Metropolitan Stadium, playing a key role for their teams on the third day of the South American qualifiers.
In this sense, Luis Diaz completed a great play on the pitch which surprised the media and the fans, as he was to dribble three players in a 40 meter-run outside the box before giving a key assist to the right wing to create the play of the second goal for Colombia scored by Mateus Uribe.
The second goal of Colombia unbalanced the score to give them the lead of the game, but Darwin Nunez left his mark in the game with a unexpected appearance in the few minutes of the clash against his Liverpool teammate, and he scored the equalizer at the 91st minute of the game converting a penalty.
Both players have already shown his friendship inside and outside of the pitch, and they would be focused on their games during the international break before meeting at Liverpool again to front the Merseyside derby against Everton to be played at Anfield on 21 October.
