Manchester United pre-season has started with different mysteries to solve. In the last few days we have been able to read a lot of news about the possible arrival of new players to the team, with negotiations stalled and the club trying to speed up every deal to satisfy the requests made by Erik Ten Hag. The Dutchman is also monitoring some possible departures, evaluating every case to make a decision soon.

In this sense, Manchester United has received some offers for players who are in the Ten Hag's selling list and they could also be sold soon in order to raise some funds to keep taking elite players to the team. However, there is another case needing a solution, the Mason Greenwood personal situation at the club.

The young wonderkid was recently added to Manchester United's squad four months after charges of attempted rape and assault were dropped against him. The charges against him were dropped in February of this year, but he is still the subject of an internal “process” being conducted by United. Despite all the possible trouble found on him, Erik Ten Hag has said to count on the player, who now could have received a new indication from the club that is dividing the fans.

Mason Greenwood’s future at United is uncertain

As reported by the English press in the last few hours, Mason Greenwood is in full control of his situation. He wants to return to United and he could’ve come back for pre-season but didn’t want to yet due to the press and hate he may receive. In addition, the has insisted in his decision of not moving abroad, as he wants to be closer to home when his new baby arrives, while the club has given a condition to take him back to the club as a player: the club has advised Mason and Harriet to release an interview if he decides to return.
