Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta surprised with the lineup he set against Bournemouth for the Gunners’ game at the Vitality Stadium on the seventh day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, where the visitors will try to achieve an important win to keep on fighting for the league title on the top of the Premier League table.

The Spanish coach placed in his lineup to several players who were in doubt before the game, presenting a starting XI with the habitual superstars in the Gunners, who had again Raya as the goalkeeper, while Gabriel, Rice and Saka started the game as a key part of the dorsal spine of the Arsenal, who need a win to remain in the race for the title.

On their side, Bournemouth arrived only two points ahead of the relegation zone, with the same lineup that was defeated against Brighton last week with Solanke and the line behind him composed of Kluivert, Christie and Tavernier as the main players to create scoring chances against the Gunners.

Arsenal will have Trossard on the bench

Arsenal will try to achieve a win with the following lineup: Raya; White, Gabriel, Saliba, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah. From the bench, the following players will wait for their opportunity to join the game: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Elneny, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith-Rowe, Nelson, Trossard.
