Liverpool could face another blow from the Saudi Pro League in the next few hours, as one of their best players has been linked with a potential interest by one of the top clubs in the Saudi League. After having lost Fabinho, who is close to being confirmed as a new Al Ittihad player, and Henderson, whose transfer is being negotiated with Al Ettifaq, Liverpool could be ready to avoid any other important departure in the team.

In this sense, according to the British media, Liverpool could have received a big interest in Luis Diaz from Al Hilal, since the most successful team in the Saudi Pro League is looking to come back to its glory days. Al Hilal would have made a €50 million offer for the player to make him the leader of the Saudi club’s new project, which would try to conquer the Asian Champions League in the next few years.

However, and according to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool would have already rejected the offer for Luis Diaz, indicating that they don’t have the intention to consider a verbal approach of 50 million for Luis Diaz, since the player is an important part of the Jurgen Klopp’s long term plans at the club.

Al Hilal keeps on looking for a superstar

Following the Romano sources, Al Hilal could make another attempt to sign the player  despite having receive a negative answer from Liverpool, since the Saudi club is totally determined to sign a superstar in this transfer market window, as they consider to need a new big name in the squad to face Cristiano Ronaldo’s popularity in Al Nassr, the biggest Al Hilal’s rival at the Saudi league.
