Undoubtedly, David De Gea could be living his worst moment at Manchester United. The Spanish goalkeeper has been on the spotlight of many news about the Red Devils transfer market and his coach, Erik Ten Hag, doesn’t seem very happy to count on him for the next season, as the club offers to renew his contract has gone from bad to worst for the Spanish player.

In this sense, we have to remember that De Gea rejected a lucrative offer to arrive to the Saudi Championship in early June, as being at the end of his contract with the Red Devils the player had received many and well priced external offers. However, the goalkeeper never accepted any of the proposals, while he delayed in accepting the club’s proposal to continue in the club due to the uncertain role he would have in the team, which now could be totally confirmed.

During the talks between David De Gea and Manchester United about the possible renewal of his contract, his coach Erik Ten Hag has been reported to not consider the presence of the player in his line up, looking for several options in the goalkeepers’ transfer market. Following the British media, we could find that Ten Hag has in mind several options for Manchester United’s goal, closer than De Gea to his coach's taste.

Bad news for De Gea

According to the Dutch media, Manchester United is in talks with the Feyenoord’s 25-year-old goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, with a concrete interest on the player from the Red Devils, which in addition to the possible arrival of the Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, from Inter Milan to Old Trafford, would mean a clear sign for David De Gea to leave the club after having totally lost his place in the Ten Hag’s squad.
