But not only that, now they want to take their star players away from the Gunners. And they won't be soft to pull out the wallet and offer a large sum of money, so the board will have to be smart not to affect the group they have been able to forge to make them competitive in England.

One such team is Paris Saint-Germain. The French side is one of the most financially powerful in Europe and can make purchases such as Lionel Messi, who has just finished his contract and could return to FC Barcelona for his final spell as a professional player.

Several media reports suggest that Gabriel Magalhaes is on PSG's radar for next season. His signing would be in the region of 50 million euros and would be a significant sum of money for Arsenal. Although this would be in the evaluation of Arteta, who knows he needs him for next year in a big way.
