Nobody wants him at United, and now he’d sign for a team almost relegated in the Premier League

With their first friendly game of the pre-season to play against Leeds in Oslo in the next few hours, Manchester United are getting prepared for the season with the some significant absences in the squad that has flown to Oslo but with the presence of Mason Mount as their first signing for the 2023-2024 campaign.

In this sense, Maguire, Luke Shaw, Rashford, Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Anthony Elanga, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, Facundo Pellistri, Alex Telles and Eric Bailly will be out of the squad for the game against Leeds, as they were called up by their national sides earlier this summer and they will join the squad a few days later.

Some of these names have already been reported to be in the Erik Ten Hag selling list to exit from the club this summer, and they could be looking for a new destination in the next few days. That is the case of the Swedish winger Anthony Elanga, who was an important player under the Ralf Rangnick management and the club and lost presence and minutes under the Erik Ten Hag era at the institution.

A new destination appears for the player

According to the Transfers French site Foot Mercato, Anthony Elanga could have a suitor pushing for his transfer at this moment, as Everton is totally determined to sign the player in the next few days and could already have started talks with Manchester United for the 21-year-old player, a youth product of the United’s academy who could be trying to show his potential somewhere else very soon.
