Goalkeeping has been one of the most criticised positions for Chelsea this season. Edouard Mendy had been the first-choice goalkeeper for most of the games, but his mistakes have cost them points and passage to the next round of European competitions.

Despite this, Mendy continues to be called up to the France national team and is considered one of the best in Europe. It is not for nothing that his fee is still one of the highest in England and he will not go for nothing to another club interested in his services.

But this will not be an inconvenience if another keeper arrives with more presence and who convinces the new Blues coach better. Mauricio Pochettino has already put a name on the table and the negotiators are already seeking contact with one of the clubs that will be looking to win the European crown in the coming days.

And in addition, they want this to be at no cost. So Mendy would be the bargaining chip for one of the most consistent goalkeepers in this European season. And who has enamoured Pochettino to be his new goalkeeper for the start of the Premier League.

A major swap at Chelsea.

Media reports suggest that Andres Onana is the ideal goalkeeper for Mauricio Pochettino and would be making a swap with Edouard Mendy with Inter MIlan. The latter is set to face Manchester City in the upcoming UEFA Champions League final, which is to be held in Istanbul, Turkey in the coming days.
