Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta surprised the media and the fans in the last few hours with a polemic press conference after the game his team lost against Newcastle for 0-1 in St. James’ Park on the eleventh day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season, where they faced a controversial decision by the referee of the game.

The Spanish coach, who spoke on the referee’s decision of giving a goal to Anthony Gordon after the ball had apparently crossed the line of the field before John Willock assisted the English striker, was enraged about the decision and hit the English referees labeling the decision as a disgrace.

However, despite his apparent rage against the referees, the Spanish manager would be really happy to find inspiration for his role as a manager in other coaches of the Premier League, and he could have surprisingly found good inspiration in a top rival from Chelsea, which nobody would have expected from the Spanish manager of the Gunners.

Arteta studies the press conferences of a Chelsea former coach

According to the English site The Athletic, Mikel Arteta would have revealed that he studies the press conference of the rival coaches, which could help him to deal with the media in difficult situations, and he would have confessed that he gets inspiration from the Chelsea former manager Jose Mourinho, who currently evolves in AS Rome.
