Liverpool’s coach Jürgen Klopp will see how his squad increases its depth with a new signing which could be confirmed in the next few hours. The Reds know that they should make a big investment in this summer transfer window as they need to be able to face the most powerful teams in the Premier League Big Seven, who have already started to spend big amounts of money in transfers to improve their squads.

In addition, Klopp needs to rebuild Liverpool's squad after the team lost important names at the end of the last season, such as James Milner or Bobby Firmino. Therefore, Liverpool has started to look for reinforcements in the market.

The Reds have been reported to be interested in Khephren Thuram, Romeo Lavia, Gabri Veiga, Manu Kone and Ryan Gravenverch as possible targets to strengthen the team’s midfield, but any movement has been concreted yet but the signing of the 24-year-old midfielder Alexis McCalister from Brighton, in exchange of an fee close to the €60 million.

Who is the next Liverpool’s new face?

According to the International journalist Fabrizio Romano, in the last few hours the Reds could have tied up the RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. The 22-year-old Hungarian player has scored 10 goals in 46 games played with RB Leipzig in all competitions, giving 13 assists. Following the Romano sources, the price to pay by Liverpool hasn’t been clarified yet and it is not clear whether the player will arrive at Anfield this season or the next.
