Ten Hag smiles again, the player that he gets back for this season

A big surprise for Erik Ten Hag came up at Carrington during the last training session as one of the most promising players in Manchester United returned to the pitch and could show his abilities again after he was drastically forced to be absent from the team in one of his best moments of the season.

The 25 year-old Argentinian center-back Lisandro Martinez was forced to undergo surgery after fracturing his metatarsal in Europa League quarter final game against Sevilla in April, which ended with the Mancunian team out of the competition and with Lisandro out of the team for the rest of the season.

After being out of the action the Argentinian has been the big news at Carrington as he came back on the field to work individually ahead the next Manchester United preseason. He even posted some stories on his Instagram account, where he encouraged himself and the United fans with an emotional “Let’s go Manchester United!”

Ten Hag will be able to set stability in defense again

The Argentinian Lisandro Martinez has been one of the main figures in the team, as he completed a huge partnership with Raphael Varane in the United defense last season. Lisandro featured 45 times in all the competitions helping the team to keep 20 clean sheets.
