The Luton Town fans’ chant against traveling Manchester City supporters

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City visited Luton Town in Kenilworth Road on the sixteenth day of the 2023/2024 Premier League season and the local fans surprised the Citizen with an impressive and unexpected chant, which they started against their rivals at the previous minutes of the game.

In this sense, the promoted team, currently placed at the 18th position on the Premier League table with 10 points from the fifteen games played until the moment, will try to take the current Premier League champion out of the game by attacking verbally from the stands.

The Hatters, who have shown a great level before against other teams in the Big Six such as Liverpool or Arsenal in the last few games, have a really controversial group of supporters, that in this case didn’t hesitate on chanting against their Mancunian rivals.

In this respect, the fans of Luton welcomed their rivals by chanting  "Conference champions, you'll never sing that!", making reference to the titles obtained by the Hatters in inferior divisions to the Premier League, something which currently seems impossible to achieve by Manchester City.
