The possible sale of Fred, valued at £20 million by United, could drive Manchester United to look for a replacement of the player, as despite he is not at the usual line up, Fred contributes to give depth to the team as a replacement of Eriksen or Casemiro. In that case, Manchester United could go for Romeo Lavia from Southampton as a potential Fred replacement if the Belgian player is still available on the market.
