Luck is not on Arsenal's side at the moment. They missed the chance to be Premier League champions in the last few rounds and gifted the championship to Josep Guardiola's Manchester City. The Gunners have a gaping wound from that painful comeback.

The London club is owned by Stan Kroenke, the American owner of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, which owns several teams around the world including the Los Angeles Rams and the newly crowned NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets.

Kroenke has been a fundamental part of each of its teams' championships, in addition to giving them all the necessary tools to have powerful institutions with the best players in their respective sports.

That is why the case of Mikel Arteta's Arsenal is curious. They were on top all season and couldn't hold on in the final stretch. Despite that, they got a ticket back to the UEFA Champions League and will be rubbing shoulders with Europe's best.

What next for Kroenke and Arsenal?

The Gunners are still on the lookout for new signings for next season. The one they are a few steps away from securing is Declan Rice, who will leave West Ham to play at the Emirates Stadium despite Bayern Munich's attempts to land him.
