Given that, Manchester United initiated talks for the player in the last few days, by making a first offer bid of 40 million, with Inter Milan asking for 60 million. However, the insistence of Ten Hag on signing the player could have changed the United position, ready to complete the player's arrival to Old Trafford to satisfy their coach demands.
