Everybody in the Liverpool universe agrees the next season will mean the beginning of a new era at Liverpool. After having conquered the Premier League and the Champions League in the last few years, several veteran players such as James Milner or Bobby Firmino left the club last season and it is time to rebuild the team and getting ready to face new challenges.
In that sense, Liverpool have been focused on young players to rejuvenate the team in this transfer market window. In consequence of that, the club has completed the arrivals of Alexis McCallister and Dominik Szobozslai, who are expected to lead the new generation of the Reds from the midfield.
Precisely in that area of the team, Klopp has several targets in mind, but after having spent a big amount of money in his first two signings, he could be resigned to losing some of his top targets for the team, such as Kephren Thuram from Nice. The French player is really valued by Klopp because of his tactical and technical qualities as a midfielder. Actually, the 22-year-old player completed 48 games played with Nice last season, in all competitions.
However, the price asked for Kephren Turam would be too high for Liverpool. According to the French media Nice Matin, Nice has set a price of at least €40 million for the player, making Liverpool consider new alternatives. In this sense, Liverpool could be considering the possible arrival of Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich. The Austrian player completed a decent campaign at United last season and he could arrive at Anfield for only €15 million, an amount much more affordable for Liverpool, who would be seriously considering his addition to the team to open talks with Bayern.
