Chelsea’s right back Reece James would be living some of the worst moments in his career in the West London club, since the English international seems to be struggling to become a legend for the Blues due to a concrete reason which would avoid the player to engrave his name in the club’s history.
In this sense, the player, who has already completed 115 appearances with the Blues since his graduation from the club’s academy in 2019, has struggled to show consistently his quality on the pitch with the West London team, which would be seen by the fans and the media as a big issue to become a legend for Chelsea.
In this respect, it would be worth mentioning that he has played eight Premier League games from sixteen of competition in the current season, as he was on the sidelines for a muscle injury that kept him out of the pitch from August to October.
However, there would be a clear argument defending his lack of success at Chelsea, as the player has struggled to deliver great performances at the team during the last few years. In this sense, according to the sporting data company Opta Sport, Reece James hasn’t played more than three games in a row since 2021, which would really worry his club, ready to take important measures to secure the player’s fitness.
