Ivorian defender Eric Bailly finally found a new destination out of Manchester United to follow his career after having been set as a transferable player this summer by the coach Erik Ten Hag, who would have talked with the player to explain to him he was out of his plans in the month of July.
In this sense, Bailly was recently announced as a new player for Besiktas, where he arrived as a free agent after terminating his contract with United in mutual agreement for the club to allow him negotiate with the Turkish club before the transfer market of the Ottoman league shuts.
Once his departure from the Red Devils was confirmed, the 29-year-old player, who had been linked with Real Betis and a move to the Saudi Pro League before confirming his arrival to Besiktas, wanted to say goodbye to the Manchester United fans with a thrilling message posted on his personal social media.
Bailly wanted to remember his stage at Manchester United and the memories amassed during the time, when he even conquered a UEFA Cup in 2017. “As I leave this club after many years of incredible memories, outstanding teammates, and trophies, I want to express my profound gratitude”, wrote Bailly.
