Manchester United confirmed through its official social media accounts the unexpected signing of a three Premier League winner who arrived to the club in the last few hours, joining the Ten Hag's pre-season training routine and getting the United fans immediately thrilled and strongly shocked by the move.
The player was the unexpected protagonist in the latest hours of Manchester United’s transfer market. The Mancunian institution surprised everyone by suddenly announcing the incorporation of him for the next pre-season match, although the player has not yet been officially announced nor were there any indications of the possible signing of this player, highly beloved among the Manchester United fans, cause he had already played for United before.
We talk about Johny Evans, who had been playing for West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City before Evans left the Foxes upon their relegation back to the Championship at the end of the previous campaign. It is worth remembering that Evans is an old ex Manchester United player, who came through United's academy as a youngster and made over 130 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils between 2006 and 2015, winning three Premier League titles in the process.
The 35-year-old player has returned to Old Trafford on a short-term deal following his exit from Leicester City at the end of last season, and has been officially reported by Manchester United to have signed a short-term deal to enable him to take part in the club’s upcoming pre-season games in Edinburgh and San Diego against Lyon and Wrexham respectively.
