Chelsea are looking to improve their team after a horrible season at Premier League. Despite having spent a huge amount of money in the January transfer market window, the London club didn’t achieve the qualification for any European competition for next season, and that is already having consequences for the squad.
The first decision to be made by the new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has been signing Mauricio Pochettino as a new coach. After having showing his abilities as a manager in the Premier League, Chelsea has decided to bet for the Argentine capacity to strengthen his clubs as they are keen on rebuilding the squad.
Since the Pochetino arrival, Chelsea has been trying to make cash to have fresh money with a big amount of sales,in order to be ready to make room and have the financial capacity to sign new players for the squad. In this sense, Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly or Ruben Loftus-Cheek have already left the club and Chelsea is now ready to make huge signings in the transfer market.
Chelsea is seeking for a new big reference in his attack and they have already identified the Argentinian player Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan as a top target, with the Chelsea Argentinian player Enzo Fernandez as a key part to convince Lautaro to arrive at Stamford Bridge, while Chelsea would have £80 million ready to convince Inter Milan to let the player go.
