Manchester United continues preparing for the next Premier League season as Erik Ten Hag’s team is currently in the USA, where the players will face Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund to be ready to front all competitions with the best shape possible. In this sense, Manchester United’s coach is communicating to the club the players whom he won’t count on for the next season to send them out of the club on a transfer or a transfer loan.

One of those players is the Swedish striker Anthony Elanga, who was one of the best partners in crime for Cristiano Ronaldo during the last period of the Portuguese superstar at Manchester United. Elanga used to play regularly under the management of Ralf Rangnick at the club, but he has been reported not to be part of Erik Ten Hag’s plans at the club this season and he could be out of the club in the next few hours.

In this sense, according to the British media, Manchester United would have turned down an Everton offer for the player to negotiate with Nottingham Forest, who would pay £15m for the player to complete the transfer and Elanga could be signing his new contract and have his medical tests completed in the next few hours.

The player could join another Manchester United player

Following the English media sources, Elanga would join the 26-year-old goalkeeper Dean Henderson at Nottingham, since the United player would be negotiated with Forest once the Andre Onana's arrival to Old Trafford has been confirmed, while the Mancunian team is expected to look for another goalkeeper in the transfer market to fill the position of second goalkeeper in the squad.
