Liverpool FC's season did not end as expected. The Anfield team was eliminated in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League and was also out of the Top 4 of the Premier League for the first time in more than five years. Now, the team does not want that to happen again and is starting to clean up, as well as negotiating the arrival of new players.
Liverpool had high hopes for Fabio Carvalho when he joined from Fulham for €5.9 million, but the winger has not shone as the Reds might have imagined. As such, they are considering the sale of the player or, as a last resort, a loan deal that could lead to the player's departure.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Klopp's side are "in talks" with a foreign club to sign the Portugal Under-21 winger, who is under contract until 2027, permanently. The transfer window specialist also reports that there are numerous loan options on the table from Premier League rivals.
According to Daily Mail, the Portuguese is on the radar of another European giants, specifically in Germany. RB Leipzig would be in this case the team most interested in the signing of this player to whom the Portuguese is offering a place in their ranks. An interesting destination awaits this player if the loan is completed.
