Manchester United is immersed in the transfer market with the main goal of selling the players whom his coach Erik Ten Hag doesn’t count on. The Dutchman is ready to raise funds to invest in elite players who are able to improve the quality and versatility in his squad and he already has a long selling list set.

In this sense, according to the British media reports, Ten Hag is open to selling up to at least 13 players this summer with Scott McTominay as a big name emerging for a potential exit from Old Trafford, a plan which could lead Manchester United to raise the money they need to complete their transfers.

Following the British media sources, McTominay could have been valued at £40 million, with West Ham as the team most interested in signing the player, who is a top target for David Moyes, the coach of the Hammers. As reported by these sources, Moyes and West Wam could sign the player in the next few days, with the London team ready to open talks for McTominay as soon as one condition is completed: the signing of Declan Rice for Arsenal must be completely sealed.

McTominay’s future seems clear

In that sense, Arsenal and West Ham expect to seal the transfer in the following days, which will make an income of €105 million for West Ham. Arsenal’s intention would be to officially present Rice before next Sunday, July 17, and  once that happens, West Ham would be able to go to the market with a big amount of cash to get McTominay from Manchester United.
