After having raised funds enough to avoid the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations and getting fresh money from the sale of at least 6 players, Chelsea is ready to make a big movement in the transfer market window, as the Blues have already identified the top targets Mauricio Pochetino is asking for rebuilding the team for next Premier League season.

With this goal in mind, Chelsea has already sold Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, being now very well placed to make a big investment to add an elite player to its midfield, where Mauricio Pochetino wants to add the Ecuadorian player Moises Caicedo, from Brighton.

Chelsea and Brighton have already started the negotiations for the player, with the Seagulls asking for a bid close to €100 million, regarding the interest of Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City in the player.  In this sense, the amount of money to pay for Caicedo could be higher than expected when the Chelsea interest in the player started.

Moises Caicedo already said yes

According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will continue talks with Brighton for Moisés Caicedo next week. Clubs will be in direct contact as negotiations are ongoing, with Chelsea hoping to find a solution soon as personal terms are not an issue, as Caicedo already said yes to Chelsea.
