Liverpool could be ready to be shaken again after the Germany’s 1-4 humiliating defeat against japan in a friendly game played in the European country in the last few hours, which would have made the German dirigeants to fire their coach Hansi Flick after the game, causing that the German team would have turned their eyes to Jürgen Klopp as the ideal replacement.
In this sense, the German coach already spoke on the topic in a press conference last month, revealing that he is under contract with Liverpool until 2026 and he would expect to finish his contract before facing new challenges out of the club, but everything could change with the insistence of Germany national team to be led by him.
In this respect, according to the German site BILD, Germany would be planning an irresistible proposal for the Liverpool’s manager, and they would be confident about convincing him of leading the German national team in the Euro 2024, which will be hosted by themselves.
Following the BILD sources, the German football association could offer Klopp the possibility of combining his job at Liverpool with his potential new role managing the German national team, as previous managers have done in history, like Sir Alex Ferguson managing Scotland and Manchester United from 1985 to 1986. In case Klopp would reject the proposal, the German football association could have Louis Van Gaal, Julian Nagelsmann and Miroslav Klose as potential alternatives to become the new German national team’s coach.
