The German coach defended the Manchester United’s manager job this season

Bayern Munchen’s coach Thomas Tuchel surprised the football fans in the last few hours in his club’s press conference ahead of the game to be played in the next few hours in the Allianz Arena, where both teams will face a tough first day of the Champions League.

In this sense, it is worth remembering that Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag would arrive to the game under the spotlight after completing a poor start of the season with United, having gotten only 6 points in five games played, with only two victories and three defeats.

However, Bayern Munchen’s coach Thomas Tuchel would have decided to defend the job of his colleague when he was asked by the bad start of the season and the criticism around Ten Hag in English football, claiming that there is always a lot of noise around the Mancunian club and a lot of pundits are their ex players.

Tuchel praised the Dutchman winning culture at Manchester United

In this respect, Tuchel, who was in the Premier League from 2021 to 2022 coaching Chelsea, wanted to praise the job developed by Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United despite United's recent bad results. “I can only assume they coach in an environment where players grow and reach their top level. It's evident to see if I watch Manchester United play. The results may not speak the same language but the team is full of quality and the club has a winning culture. We will never underestimate that”, explained Tuchel
