Liverpool’s target Kylian Mbappe gave a confusing moment in the UEFA Champions League game facing PSG and AC Milan in San Siro on the fourth day of the competition, where finally the Italian side defeated 2-1 the French giant, after which both teams will keep fighting to qualify to the next phase of the competition in a tight battle in the group of death.

However, one of the most commented actions in the game happened just before the players start to play, when they were training and warming up before the clash started, as that was the first time that Gianluigi Donnarumma returned to his former team’s stadium, which create great controversy among the Milan’s fans.

In this sense, it would be worth remembering that Donnarumma made his football professional debut at AC Milan in 2015, after which he spent some years at a really good level in the Italian side, being also the captain of the team, after which he had a controversial farewell, when in 2021 he decided to reject his renewal after not agreeing the financial proposal made by his club.

Mbappe surprised even Donnarumma

He preferred to sign for PSG instead, reason that caused that the Milan fans called him “mercenario” and chanted him “figlio de… ” during his visit with PSG to San Siro, what could have been funny for his teammate Mbappe, who was seen in a viral video on the social media chanting along with the Milan fans in the face of his teammate. Later, in the after game press conference, he commented on the situation. "There was a lot of noise. They gave Gianluigi Donnarumma a pretty difficult reception. I think it was too much. In the end, it's football... The fans do what they want. We can't tell them what to do. We try to protect 'Gigio' as much as possible ", he said.
