In this sense, the manager hailed the performance of his team to achieve a dramatic late comeback stating it as a “game you will never forget” in the press conference with the Reds in which he revealed that his feeling after the game was exceptional and during the game it was “slightly different in moments”.
The Reds, who achieved their 11th successive home win in this season, won the game in just two frenetic minutes after going 2-3 in the scoring. Wataru Endo scored the equalizer for the Klopp’s side at the 87th and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who had opened the scoring for the Reds against the Cottagers, sealed the definitive 4-3, getting the local fans crazy.
In this sense, Klopp revealed the team’s feelings when Endo equalized and celebrated the goal of Arnold. “To come to Anfield and play the way we did and then at the end of the second half to be able to score a great team goal and be leading is not an easy thing, at 3-3 everyone could see the boys wanted more and because we were a bit lucky today, we got it, " he explained.
