Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag is immersed in the transfer market window after having already signed Mason Mount. The Dutchman is looking for reinforcements for the midfield after Adrien Rabiot rejected a Manchester United’s offer and the Mancunian club has initiated talks with Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, and they are confident to sign the player in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, the club has been reported to be keen on signing a new goalkeeper after the David De Gea contract with the club already expired without having concreted the Spanish player agreement to extend it. In this sense, the club could have some news soon, as Manchester United is still in talks with Andre Onana, from Inter Milan, with Justin Bijlow from Feyenoord and Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt as alternative options.
At the defense, the club hasn’t made a decision yet over Harry Maguire’s future at the club, as they haven’t found any potential buyer for the English international defender. The defender is ready to complete another season at Manchester United, where he arrived in 2019 for €85 million from Leicester and some news about his future at the club have come up in the last few hours.
According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Erik Ten Hag is looking to have a chat with the player, as he can exchange opinions about the next season with the coach. Harry Maguire could have yet a chance to stay at Manchester United, as the club hasn’t signed any replacement for the defender and there is not any concrete offer to drive Maguire to a potential exit.
