After having been on Manchester United’s radar since the summer transfer window started, Harry Kane seems to have another old potential destination close to call him back. The English striker ends his contract with Tottenham next June 2024 and the non-classification of Spurs for European competitions could irremediably drive him to a new club.

According to the journalist David Ornstein from the English journal The Athletic, FC Bayern could be the last team in joining the race to sign Kane, as the German team have been looking for an elite striker for their number 9 shirt since Lewandowski left the team to arrive at FC Barcelona and the German coach Thomas Tuchel has a great desire to sign the Tottenham’s striker.

Following the sources of Ornstein from the Athletic, Bayern would have already made an official bid for Harry Kane: €70 million plus a bonus for the striker, a first proposal that does not seem to be the definitive one but clearly a starting point in the negotiations with Tottenham.

Could Bayern convince Tottenham to sell?

Currently Harry Kane is a top star for Tottenham and the Premier League and the owner of the London club, Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator who won’t allow his best player go unless he received a big amount of money for him. Following his economical expectations, Manchester United have been reported to be designing a £190 million plan to take Kane to Old Trafford according to British reports, but it seems uncertain that Tottenham let Harry Kane to an English rival, a circumstance which could give Bayern a certain advantage in the negotiation for the player if they increase the bid to offer.
