Manchester United’s coach Erik Ten Hag set a conservative lineup to face Luton Town in Kenilworth Road on the twenty-fifth day of the 20213/2024 Premier League season, where the Red Devils need a win to keep on climbing to the Champions League places in the table.
Gary Neville said Man City style is boring but Guardiola slammed him back
The manager placed his most important players in the starting XI against the Hatters, showing no surprises and having Kobbie Mainoo as the anchor midfielder of a team where the trio Garnacho, Rashford and Hojlund were Ten Hag’s bet for United’s attack in the game.
The Dutchman didn’t count on Mason Mount nor Tyrell Malacia nor Lisandro, who were sidelined one more week while Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot, totally recovered, were the full backs chosen by United’s boss.
Meanwhile, the young player Toby Collyer, who had been training with the team during the week wasn’t selected by Ten Hag to visit the Hatters, and the Dutchman trusted other young players to be included in the squad.
He can’t even play 70 minutes, the Ten Hag’s player who is failing out of United
These players would be none other than Amad Diallo and Amari Forson, who could have minutes in the game in case the team isn’t suffering against Luton Town and has the win assured.
